I have to agree with TinaK on the backing. I do my settings a bit differently
tho. My Auto-Actifeed is set to a 7 or an 8 minumum, depends on the cap and
amount of backing. My presser foot is up 3-4 clicks from the bottom, still want
it to do it's job. You also need to keep an eye on your needles. I have a
repeat job on some wool blend OTTO caps that will eat the tip off a needle in
about 20K stitches. Last thing----HOOPING, if it ain't right you are doomed.
