The main advantage is that you can load your next hooped garment on the machine that finishes first. It actually saves you a few seconds each time. Through the day those seconds can add up. It's not much, but it is better than the way it was. We have not installed the most recent software yet so our machines both stop when one has a thread break. That is fine with me though. It keeps us on the same track. Won't we lose time when the other machine catches up later and the one that is finished waits? The same time it would take to thread the needle or replace the bobbin? Not quite sure why that is an advantage. Curious what you pay your machine operators? E.M. Have multiple Amayas set up to run as singles... That way when running multiple items of the same design (as you would on a multi head)... Only one is stopped at a time waiting for the next item to be placed on. Or if there is a thread break or bobbin out, the others keep going and just one stops. In a multi head situation, all 4 heads are stopped while you load all 4 etc. If the machine is not running it is not making money. We have a couple of members on the list that run multi Amayas. And have great results. Consistent speeds of 1200SPM etc. Im guessing they have been busy or out of town is why they have not responded.
