Mine did that a couple of weeks ago. It was the emergency stop button that was depressed. Did you check that? OS will not open!!! I just went down to the shop in my basement, powered up my lap top clicked on the operating system icon, got the grey screen, turned on my one head red Amaya and it did it's little blink and then the lights turned on, but that was it!!! No needle case movement to center, nor did anything show up on the laptop...still a grey screen. I sure hope this is nothing serious cuz I am backed up with Christmas orders (why else would I be working on a Saturday evening)!! It worked last night and all day yesterday...no problems. I've had it a since last September and NEVER had the first problem. I use her nearly every day, even if it's just something small. I tried unplugging everything and plugging back in...no good. I rebooted the computer, still nothing. The green light on the UPS is on and I shut it down and turned it back on!! PLEASE-PLEASE-PLEASE, anyone got a second to help me? Thanks in advance, if so!!! Take this off, cut out each patch-and then rehoop either the larger hoopl or small hoop if you only want to do one at a time with a thin backing sheet only.. As you sew the 'applique' outline-use a little adhesive and stick one of your 'patches' down on the outline, then let it run the rest of the 'applique' setup. Your design can start or finish off with the full satin edge trim and overlap the patch cut edge to hide it. Then after you do them all on this hoop, just tear off the backing and you have patches.
