Tom,

I have never had a maintenance timer go off at the ideal time...so I reset, 
note the required maintenance and then at the end of that day go and perform 
following the book instructions....and as far as the 200,000 oiling of the 
hook..I do not follow the timer.  i oil every two hours of operation or sooner 
depending on the machine sound.

Sorry i can't tell you if I have noticed 2005 changes
