Brenda, this is a brilliant idea. Thanks for thinking of it and for being the first to volunteer to do it. The ACC Board is behind this completely and encourages all members to please volunteer to send this letter to the vets in your individual area. If you wouldn't mind, please send one of the officers a list of who you mailed to so that we can keep tabs on who's been contacted and who hasn't. Please be sure to mention that you are a member of the ACC and include the web site address in case someone is interested in learning more about us. I volunteer to do the Blount County vets. And can help some with Jefferson County. How about each member of the ACC sending copies of this letter, personalized, of course, to all of the vets listed in our county? All it would take is a little time & a few dollars in postage stamps. I volunteer to cover Morgan County Alabama. Let's hear from all members & which counties will be blanketed. If we get a response share it with the list. Let's DO something positive! When we get the vets covered, we could send a modified version of this to our elected Senators & representatives in Montgomery AND DC. With November's election upcoming, maybe we could find a way to use it to our advantage. Brenda In a message dated 6/21/2010 12:23:44 A.M. It really hits on the key issues concerning the relationship between vets and pet owners. Please share this letter with your club members and encourage them to send it to their vet.
