Terry,I'd recommend contacting a moderator for the group in question and asking if they can manually stop you bouncing. Here's the Groups Help link which tells them how to do this:

Yes I know what you mean! I suffered with this for a number of years. You will I'm afraid just have to learn to live with it to a large extent. I have heard it said that one way of stopping it is to go to Yahoogroups website and change your password there. I fount that it does work to a greater or lesser extent, but you will never get rid of the problem entirely. My ISP changed their email server last December and since then I have not experience any bouncing mail with Yahoo, but this seems to have been the only cure for the problem. You might want to think about a different ISP, Possibly having Yahoo as your default Mail Service provider might help. Other then that I cannot think of any way of getting round the difficulty. It just seems to be part of life with Yahoo. For the last couple of days, I haven't received any mail from a group that I belong to, and Yahoo comes up with something about my mail bouncing. I haven't explained that very well, but I hope someone knows what I am on about. thanks Terry ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG Free Edition.
