Hi Damon,

They do have their place, although it's very much a case of
"If it suits you".  Getting rid of that umbilical cord can
give you a greater degree of freedom to work further away
from the PC, although distance is not unlimited.

For me, a wireless mouse is a real boon since it doesn't
have that wire permanently attached, which in turn always
seems to wrap itself round my tea cup or beer glass.
