Have you got the latest version of Jaws? If you've turned off the prompt for Jaws software to check this out, you may not have. It's 12.0..525.

Hi Carol, That sounds like the same kindda problem I'm having however, a reboot / reload doesn't fix the problem. I tried uninstalling / reinstalling JAWS 12 several times and also did the repair install thing it has. I'm now using NVDA and JAWS 10 for the moment. Original message: I don't know if it's relevant or helpful, but I upgraded to Jaws 12 a few weeks ago and suddenly noticed the other day that I couldn't read letter for letter or word for word across lines.
