[access-uk] the porset freeview box: a queery

Does anyone have the portset freeview set top box that connects to a
TV, that has a spoken interface?
if so, could i do the following with it
1. set, for example, emmerdale to record at 7 PM on ITV1 via the EPG
2. While that was on could i be watching something completely
different on a different channel?
