hi jackie well whatever i do will not work i just wonder which version ian and
terry have on their i devices. so just to confirm i did go in to the quick
settings and it said bluetooth off even though when you go in braille terminal
it should switch it on. then from the braille terminal i select bluetooth then
on the iphone vsettings general voice over braille then it sees the braille
note touch as brailliant so i hit the pair button on the iphone and it asks on
the touch if the code equals the same press pair so i do that and whatever i do
it just will not connect at all so i will have to become a tester for humanware
i think.
as ian says though with the third party apps it keeps saying web view.
now with the knfb reader you must get the camera just right that's the distance
between the touch and the print that you're scanning. it works a treat for me.
so if i use my tablet it should work as a braille display as well should it
not.
anyway i will not clog the list up with braille note touch difficulties.
just to say though it's rather anoying after all the waiting for an update to
find the most important thing will not work for me. will have a try tomorrow.
still recovering after my big draw in my chess last saturday. i will ring
humanware tomorrow just in case i've missed something.

I just can't get it to pair, it surely can't be that difficult? I ensure
Bluetooth is on, choose Bluetooth in Braille Terminal, and then go to Braille
on my iPhone. But searching is dimmed, and there is no sign of it. And I
don't get anything out of K-NFB reader either, not a scratch. Yet my phone
version works fine. Very strange!
Kind regards,
Jackie Brown

Ditto on the iPhone connection and haven't yet tried the KNFB. Keeping
that treat for the morning. I'm increasingly disillusioned with this
product which keeps promising so much but delivers so little.

Hi John
I have just tried it and cannot connect either. I also can't get
anything out of K-NFB Reader which is also worrying. I don't know what
to make of all this!
Kind regards,
