Sorry about this off topic message, but I have an Audigy 1 platinium EX if you
want it for £40 incl PNP? This is the version with external breakout box and
plenty of software with it. It also has a remote control but the software
isn't brilliant for it.

if I do need to buy a new card and go for the audidgy shoudl i get version 1
or 2?
I'm looking on ebay at brand new ones and see verrsion 1 and 2.
Is this like the sound blaster and sound blaster platinum's where one was
just a PCI and the other also had remote controls and front jacks that took
up a bay on the front of your machine?
