John,
What do you mean that "The apps that say Webview can be bypassed"?
I'm afraid I don't follow.
Yes, longing for the update myself ... whenever!
It had better come tomorrow! <BG>

yes it's not easy but i am still very pleased with the touch. it's anoying some
apps just say web view but i am doing very well with it in the keysoft apps.
good luck with the dock your doing there's such a lot to go through though but,
i suppose at our age it keep us going. i am really looking forward to the
update where one can use the touch as a braille terminal so you can connect it
to the iphone or i think say my samsung tablet so, the apps that say web view
can be bypassed. i think this is a very good point to have the use as a braille
display with the touch. i would love a really small braille device as well i
must take a look at the new orbit that is due out very soon. good luck carol
keep at it all the very best.

Oh John,
I'm sorry, because you were having good success with it at first.
We'll all have to watch the space!
It does concern me that, as apps update, the BrailleNote Touch could
become of lesser use quite quickly, but I do like the concept and am
having some success and other rather disappointing results as well. I'll
give you a fuller update at some point. I'm in the process of writing
quite a long document for Humanware but, with all that's happening with
us at present, it's hard to stick at it and get it out in the next 10
years! <Grins>

hi there carol no not really because it's using the google play news stand to0was
read it i think maybe on say a samsung one would have to use flip board because
google play news stand works on older android versions i think but it's strange
what ever i do on ios i cannot read the magazin at all. maybe steve could come
in hear as he reads newspapers on android very well. it does say webview
sometimes and lock up but if you click the wait button it does work.
it just shows sometimes the older versions are accessible but then after
updates they don't work it's like the iphone with the lottery app as soon as
the ios is updated access is not there any more. but there are lots of
magazines on the google play news stand. the pc advisor is about six to seven
weeks in front of the talking newspapers. interesting though.
