The simple way is to mark the spot where you wish to bookmark with say letters
xxx and then save the document ctrl letter s.
On returning to it use ctrl f to find and type in the letters you used. Now
having returned to the spot, delete the marking xxx and again save with ctrl s.
Now you can continue to read as before.

hope that helps

Kind Regards
David Dick

Can someone, please help? I have a long document in note pad, a book. Is
it possible to place a bookmark in the document, so that I could return to a
point where I had stopped reading?

Any help, would be greatly appreciated.

  John Adam
