Hi,
If it is a USB modem, then yes you need to use the Tiscalli software, in order
to install the modem drivers. You should put the disk in before connecting to
the modem through the USB cable.

I used the tiscali software but it's not like BT or AOL. Tiscali doesn't
put icons and software all over your pc. In fact, I think it only puts an
icon on your desktop that links to the tiscali home page. I'm sorry that I
can't be any more helpful on this one, Justin.

just to let you know, that i have chosen
Tiscali as my broadband provider.
My service will start on Feb 13. I have received the Modem ETC through the
post.
Just one question if you don't mind.
Do i need to use the Tiscali software that comes with the modem, and if so,
why?.
