Terry,
Sorry, I have no idea of the manufacturer of these meters. I got them from
Canada via a friend in the States as they would not post outside Canada and
North America. As I remember, all the talking meters I found at the time
were only available within the USA which is why I had them sent to my
friend. I'm not in touch with them any more, unfortunately, so cannot get
any sent through that route.

Good luck with your search,

Hi Mark

A couple of years ago, you bought about 5 or 6 of the above units for
various people on the access uk list, including myself.

Do you have the contact details for the manufacturer in the States, as I'm
desperately trying to get hold of a replacement unit, as mine is dead.

I'm completely lost without it when I'm working on my classic MG's. I
currently have a 69 GT with various electrical issues that I'm trying to
sort out so I can sell it on.

I'm relying on a 12v buzzer, but I can't sort out all the issues just using
that crappy buzzer.

You know, sometimes the UK stinks when it comes to accessibility stuff for
the minority, like talking metres, it really does, :-)

Anyway, if you do have any contact details, then I would really appreciate
them.

I've sent emails to the recycle it list, trying to find a used one, but
nothing back.

Thanks

Terry

Subject: [access-uk] Wireless microphone suggestions

Hi all.

Can anyone recommend a Bluetooth or wi-fi microphone for wireless recording
on a tablet or pc, please?

A friend wants to have a microphone outside so he can record the wildlife in
the garden and listen to it while inside the house.

He does not want a traditional FM radio mic, but we cannot find anything at
all that is just a Bluetooth or wi-fi mic. Plenty of headsets, obviously,
but nothing that is just a microphone.

There are professional setups that musicians use, but these are way too
expensive for the intended use, so any suggestions would be appreciated.
