Hi Catherine I have had my yahoo account for several years but to be honest have only recently started using the googlemail accounts in the last few months but when I started having problems with yahoo I needed to find something more efficient and google is definitely that. I too belong to many groups and I think yahoo was struggling with the amount of mail I was getting. I have set up my google accounts in outlook and it is very user friendly. I would like to know what the google mail notifier is? I have seen it on the googlemail site. No more problems I hope, keep my fingers crossed!! Regards Adrien You can get me off list at: adriencollins22160@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx or adriencollins06@xxxxxxx or adrien_collins@xxxxxxxxxxx Speakon is a free fully self-voicing accessible multimedia program for the visually impaired, find out more by downloading the software from: http://www.a-technic.net/speakon.htm You can join the speakon user group by sending a blank e-mail to: speakon-subscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of catherineturner2007@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, February 18, 2008 2:52 PM To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: free e-mail accounts Yes - if you're looking for a free account you can do no better than google in my experience. It's free to get pop access (unlike yahoo). It's the most friendly/quickest to use webmail interface I've come across so on occasions when you might need to use anotheo machine you can access your e-mail easily and efficiently. Its search features, labelling and the way it organises mail into conversations are fantastic, especially if you just can't resist signing up to lists that might possibly one day be useful/relevant like me. It's been a lifeline for me the last few months as my laptop is broken. If it wasn't for one or two specific things I find lacking I would use it above Outlook Express even if/when I get my laptop back - and I have always hated webmail.
