Hi MartinI too am in the market for a wireless headset. The only reason I don't use Skype much these days is because I don't like being wired to the PC or having wires hanging around me. So this one appeals to me. However, at that price it would need to be sensational. Would you say it's worth its money? Had a look on some other sites, but can't see it. So I'm assuming it's only sold on the Skype site?

Hi Alexander. Try the skype headset from www.skype.com It's the freetalk wireless headset. It charges in about two hours forusability of about six, and you can turn it off independantly, so if you'renot using it, you can concerve battery power. I find them fantastic. If you want a demo of how good the mic is, I'll record something and send it off list. Thgese are a bit pricy, but the quality of the feed from the pc is good. It's uSB and the quality of the sound is cd quality, though the range is limited to about fifteen metres, according to manufacturer. -----Original Message-----From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf OfAlexander Shannon Sent: 19 July 2009 15:45 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] cordless headphones usable with a desktop? Hi all,I always seem to damage the flexes of any corded headphones I use with my HPdesktop computer, so I'm wondering if anyone can recommend some cordless headphones I could use with it please. The only problem is, that I do also have a cordless telephone handset on mydesk and I don't really want the headphones to interfere with that. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
