Hi Marie,

I can't remember exactly how to do it, but one way to do this easily, is to
create a document, Insert page numbering, put nothing else into it, then
save it as Blank Template.doc or whatever you want. Then when you start a
new document, load that in.

All the best

Steve

Can I have the option of page numbering always there by default, that's the
way it used to be, I'm sure, how can I achieve this in Word 2003?
Marie
