Hi Steve and Marie

I had a look at the Page Numbering facility, and there isn't a Set As
Default in there like there is in say the font menu, where you can make
Arial your default if you want to. I'm sure there must be something to
make it the default but, like you, I can't figure out what either.

Hi Marie,

I can't remember exactly how to do it, but one way to do this easily, is
to create a document, Insert page numbering, put nothing else into it,
then save it as Blank Template.doc or whatever you want. Then when you
start a new document, load that in.

All the best

Steve

Can I have the option of page numbering always there by default, that's
the way it used to be, I'm sure, how can I achieve this in Word 2003?
Marie
