Hi George
Yes it was me who asked. I know how to do that, but what I'm trying to fathom
out is why, when I start to type an Email in the To field, does it remember
people whether they are in my contacts or not? Where is Vista storing this
information? It isn't a problem, just that I can't work out where to go and
clean them out. I thought it was only supposed to remember people you had in
your address book?
Ho-hum! thanks anyway. I guess it's just a Vista trait that we'll all come to
know and ... accept? (smile.)

Hi Jackie,
Was it you who asked how to stop e-mail addresses being automatically
completed in Vista's mail?
Go to Options, navigate to the Send tab, and then 4th down, uncheck
"Automatically complete e-mail addresses when composing".
Close and re-start Windows Mail.
George.
