Hi Doris, To be honest, I don't remember. Window-Eyes 6 wasn't too good with Skype at all, ever. I think even to get a reasonable experience, they would need to upgrade. All the best Steve -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Chris & Doris Sent: Thursday 18 June 2009 16:23 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Window Eyes 6.0 and Skype Hi, A friend of mine is running Window Eyes 6.0 - and no, he is currently not in a position to upgrade to the latest and greatest. I am wondering what is the latest version of skype to work well with Widnow Eyes 6. I seem to vaguely remember that the changes introduced to skype with version 3.5 and higher caused widnow eyes not to be able to read the text chat anymore as it could not see the MSAA text. Is this correct? My friend uses the WE mouse cursor to read his text chat. also, is the skype options dialog accessible to Window eyes 6 in versions of skype 3.x? Any advice is much appreciated as I am a jaws user and do not have a demo of WE 6 on my system. Thanks much.
