Hi all,

Sorry if this is off topic for this list, but as it relates to
accessibility, I thought I would pick someone's brain on this list. I have
been asked by my local council to test drive a new council run web site they
are preparing and to advise them on various accessible options that would
make access to their web site with screen readers and magnification more
accessible. I don't want it to be just my input, but a broader range of
views. If some kind person or persons on this list could take a moment and
give me their views on how to make a web site easy to navigate and their
preferred layout, using a screen reader or magnification, it would be most
appreciated. Also if anyone knows of good web sites that are (top of the
range) accessible for comparison and if its not too much trouble, could you
let me have the web address's? Please e-mail me off list as I don't want to
clutter this list for this purpose.

thanks to anyone who can help in advance.
Jim.
