Hi Andy,

It's very difficult to give a precise answer without knowing
make and model of printer, but generally this is done from
the Print dialog, where there is usually a "Preferences"
button, or similar. That goes for most printing functions
regardless of software or operating system being used.
Unfortunately the Preferences dialog varies depending on
manufacturer, etc..

However, there is often a "Maintenance" option there
somewhere which can print a test page, and another to clean
and unclog nozzles, etc..

George.

Subject: [access-uk] Vista and printing in word2007

Hi all -

I have a couple of questions: Firstly, in order to stop my
little used
printer's ink drying up, or the print nozzles, what wood be
a good colour to
choose for a test print. I have 4 ink cartridges, Blue
Magenta Yellow and
Black, so need to use a mixture of inks just to keep things
ticking over.

The other question is about how to change printing colour in
word2007, under
Vista, I can't quite figure the ribbon menu out for font
etc.

Thanks for any help with either or both of these queries -

Andy
