property?,

Hi,

It's normally anything from 2 to 3 days. It can be in some cases up to 10
at busier times of the year, EG Xmas.

Hannagh, George is correct in that you should ring Virgin. They have a
department that deals with Moving Home. What will happen is on the day you
tell them you are moving they'll stop the service at your current address.

They'll give you a few choices, (normally), for when they can install the
connection in your new home. An Engineer will be booked and they'll come
out to install your new MODEM etc. Even if there's a Virgin line at your
new place they'll still issue you with a new MODEM. If they arent' already
aware you have a Disability now might be the time to let them know.. You
can also tell them that you want the Engineer to setup your Broadband. So
he/she will install the software necessary to get you onto the Virgin
service. Don't let him/her leave until you have seen that your Internet is
working.

Good luck,
Barry.
