Subject: [access-uk] Using Vista

I have read with interest some of the recent messages on the subject of
using Vista in Classic mode.
I must admit that,although I have every intention of using Vista (and even
Office 2007) as intended, in the interests of sanity I have opted for the
Classic Start Menu at  present.

But even this has snags. For example, the Add/Remove programs applet
is no longer listed in Control Panel, and although I did once find it from the
DStart menu, I have lost it again, together with a little more of my
remaining hair! Any hints would be much appreciated.

I think that the real problem in taking the easy approach is that the vast
amount of Help material which Microsoft provides is naturally directed at
peopleusing the OS as originally intended.
