Hi Sunil,

Yes, you can, but you may need to reinstall Talks.

All the best

Steve

Cheers Steve, so if I do update, is there a quicker way of getting going
again than reinstalling all my apps individually? Can I for instance backup
everything first, then update the firmware then do a restore? Or
not...cheers

Hi Sunil,

Yes, if you update your phone, it will be wiped. The only exception is the
N82, which cleverly hangs on to everything.

Just hit update software, and the Suite will tell you if you have the latest
firmware.

All the best

Steve

Hi, I've got an N95 but I don't know if it's running the most up-to-date
firmware. How to I check this and if there's an update available, is the
process of installing it as simple as connecting the phone to the PC via PC
suite and clicking the update software option? And if I install a more
recent version of the firmware, will it wipe the memory so all installed
apps and text messages will disappear and will need to be installed
again?...cheers in advance
