Hello, I tried using this for the first time yesterday. I was able to download my email into my inbox as usual but it wouldn't send mail. Why is this? Do I need to change SMTP settings or something? Annabell. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Nutt" <steve@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi Chris, The phone will connect to WPA networks, but you can't use the router functionality as a WPA connection with either package. Only WEP is supported. This is why I consider Walking Hotspot to be more secure. Really? From what I hear it's possible to connect to WPA-enabled wireless networks. Is this true though? -- Chris Hallsworth e-mail: christopherh40@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx MSN: ch9675@xxxxxxxxxxx Skype: chrishallsworth7266----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Nutt" <steve@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, March 08, 2009 11:25 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Making my nc 10 use my n82 as a modem? Hi Carol, None of them support WPA, but apparently this is due to limitations of the phones, rather than the programs, at least that is what bWalking Hotspot support tell me. Do neither of these programmes support WPA, then?Has anyone tried both and found one to be faster, or more reliable, than theother. I've only briefly tried "Walking Hotspot". Next time I need that kind of freedom, I shall try with a view to buying one or the other, so would be interested to hear from anyone who has tried both. -- Carol carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx -- Carol carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx On Sunday, March 08, 2009 9:10 PM (UK time), Chris Hallsworth at christopherh40@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx said:Ar ok, thanks for telling us that Steve. I'd probably use WPA (if supported), but if not WEP on Joiku, otherwise it may be Walking Hotspot.** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
