Ar ok, thanks for telling us that Steve. I'd probably use WPA (if
supported), but if not WEP on Joiku, otherwise it may be Walking Hotspot.

Hi Jackie,

The only thing I don't like about Joikuspot is that it accepts connections
without confirmation, so unless you set it to WEP, anyone can get in.
Walking Hotspot on the other hand, will tell you that someone is trying to
connect and let you choose yes or no on the phone. A little more secure.

All the best

Steve

Hi Martin

I use Joikuspot, and find it easy to work with. I simply start
Joikuspot on my N82, go into Internet Explorer on my Netbook, and it
picks up the wireless connection.

My boss Glenn and I were at the airport last week, and he couldn't pick
up his own Emails with the WiFi spot there, so I gave him my N82 to use
Joikuspot, and this was successful for him. I believe Walking Hotspot
does something similar, so I guess it's a case of trying them both to
see which you prefer.

HI all. How do I get a wireless enabled laptop to connect with my n82
to surf the internet? I've heard of soemthing called walking hoptspot
and joyku? Do these do what I want it to do? Thanks. If so, how easy is
it to configure the software to surf the web securily via my laptop
using my mobile phone as a modem? Thanks.
