I have no password on the laptop, when it works normally, I do not have to log
on at all. Now, Jaws 9 reads the log on dialog, says Marie, the only user is
locked and the only option is switch user. Pressing enter or spacebar or either
mouse button results in Jaws becoming silent and the screen doing nothing and
the only way to shut down the machine is by pressing the power button.
Any other thing I can try? pressing the windows key doesn't access the start
menu and Windows key +l has no effect.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Marie

To unlock your Vista system, press Alt + Ctrl + Del and enter your password
if you have one.

Hope someone can help, I have, somehow, accidentally locked myself out of the
laptop. My name on it is Marie and the screen says Marie locked. I asked
someone sighted to help, they chose switch users and now, I can't even get Jaws
started. We can't find a button to unlock my profile. Is there anything I can
do? and I was getting so well with Vista until now...
I will now go and make the most of the sunshine and try to remember what I
did to get there, but I am sure the screenreader didn't read anything about
locking the computer.
Cheers now,
Marie
P.s the laptop is a Toshiba one of the equim range.
