Carol - one other thing has just come to light from reading the help file, where it talks about needing the aspi drivers for ripping from CD-ROM, so maybe this is my problem, as I don't know if I have these or not. Can you cast any light on this one? I've also heard it's a good idea to silence or take out JAWS or other speech programmes so that the processor isn't so hard at work. I now do this so don't know if there's jitter error or not. You could look to see if there's a way to slow down the CD speed. I have a feeling there is but haven't had to look for ages. I've used different CDs, and it's just the same! Love some help please!
