As well, this Tissot Silent model isn't specifically made for VI users. The idea behind it is to be able to check the time without people around you noticing and as it happens we can benefit from this touch crystal technology. To my knowledge no other watch makers are using this technology which's, IMHO, a very clever idea as it can offer you the functionality of a digital watch while maintaining the elegant classic look of an analogue watch. And to be fair, Tissot has models which are quite more expensive than the Tissot Silent; take for instance the Tissot Touch models. The main point is that Tissot produced a mainstream product with added functionality which brings us to a same playing field level with the sighted user, and I think that's a very good practice and just hope other businesses would start following this approach. After all, we can now enjoy this discussion rather than living in a world where you have to take what you're given and be thankful. You can tell that I'm very passionate about this watch can't you?! *Smile* Just my two pence worth.
