All, I think we should be wary about suggesting RNIB don't know what they are talking about with regard to TV licensing, as it appears that the TV Licensing Authority don't know what the rules are either. Based on what has been said in this thread, I should have a license for my computer. However, earlier this year I contacted TV Licensing to tell them I no longer had a TV set and wanted to cancel my license. They said that was fine. Why is that confusing? Because I contacted them by email, from my computer. So, if I needed a license to cover the potential of my computer to receive signals, they shouldn't have accepted my cancellation. Go figure! Ken
