You don't say which version of Windows your friend in using, but on
Windows 7 you go into the Ease of Access Center and choose "Use the
computer without a display" (a quick way to get there is to open the
Start Menu, type "blind" without the quotes and choose "Optimize for
blindness"). Uncheck the check box for Thunder Screenreader.
