Hi Clive and Alexander I have now tried that and it does work only thin is I like to have my e-mails in order of having received them rather than grouped to the same person if you know what I mean. I mean 'From' so why can we only do this by grouping 'From' rather than by 'Received'?

Thank you both very much for your help.

Eleanor

Hello Eleanor,

Which version of Supernova do you have? I am running Hal 6.53 and Alexander's suggestion to change the sort by option in the view menu to from: works, and pressing a key will jump you to the first message with the first letter of the sender.

Best wishes,

Clive pallett
