Nah, that didn't work. Neither did f5 nor the 'stop' in the toolbar
dropdown menu. I didn't really want to turn flash off perminently, but I
did want something that could do it quickly.

hi Barry.
Can you not simply press the escape button? I don't believe that you wish
to permanently turn off audio so perhaps it's worth trying.
