Hi Bary. NO, escape won't work when it comes to flash, just Background
sound. I did manage to stop the music by hitting enter on the second button
on the Page using the Letter F, but this was very hit and miss indeed.

Cheers,

Mark

HI Mark

The escape key doesn't do it, I've got flash turned off and I'm using IE.

Hi Barry, Escape's the key you want. Note however, that this doesn't seem to
include Flash content. Also, I've heard IT SAID that you can't silence Wave
files in this way with any browser other than IE. hth

Cheers,

Mark

How can I stop music playing when I go to web pages? I don't want to
perminently turn off the sounds, I just want to have the option to stop them

once they start.

Using jfw5.1, XP pro and, I think, IE6.

Thanks in advance
