Hi Graham,

I don't think I can help you with that search and not being able to navigate through the list, I don't use it. I always use the contacts list. However, if you want to SKYPE me, its:
jimdoc

Regards.
Jim.

Hi Jim

Yes that works here and always has tabbing and moving down through the list
of contacts.

The problem is when I search for a contact, I am unable to navigate the
results list.

Jim, I don't think you left your skype address.

Graham

Hi Graham,

The scripts aren't much good with the version you are running. However, jaws
7 does cope with SKYPE quite well without scripts. What I have to do is when
you load SKYPE, is to tab once into the contacts list. It will say zero
contacts, but I can assure you, if you cursor down, you will find all your
contacts in a list, with their status, I.E. away, online, busy etc.. There's
a couple of changes to make to your options file, but nothing that would
cause your problem. Try adding my SKYPE address to your program and calling
me and I'll go through the settings with you.
HTH.
Jim.

Hi

Yes but this is my problem I move to the required contact and do as
you say but it opens on the incorrect contact, I cannot move jaws to
the correct contact that I desire in the list.

Hi Graham,

I'm using Window-Eyes but I think you can do the same with Jaws. Find
the name of the person you wish to add with your mouse keys and press
the right mouse button. A drop down list will appear. Arrow up twice
and press Enter on Request Authorisation.

Good luck.

Robert.

Hi

When searching for a contact on Skype and a list of results is shown
how do you select a particular name in the list. I am unable to do
this, using the jaws cursor appears to be the only way to read the
names in the list but I am unable to select one of the results.
Using the PC cursor does not work at all the list does not appear to
be there.

Sorry if a little of topic for this list.

Regards

Graham
