Today Sky has launched a service for mobile phones that allows you to SMS your box from anywhere in the world to record TV programmes. Sky+ is a satellite receiver with a built in hard disk drive recorder and is revolutionising the way people consume TV. It's mainly meant for people who forgot to add things to their planner when at home but has obvious accessible uses for visually impaired people who cannot access the standard menus.

But as well as this, Sky is launching an internet service where you can add things to your Sky+ planner from your computer. This internet service will be available some time this summer.
