Hi Eleanor

The link is to a You Tube clip produced by AI Squared. It demonstrates the main
features of Zoomtext Magnifier Reader, including those that enhance important
elements of computer usage for those with sight, such as the cursor and the
mouse pointer. It also demonstrates ways to magnify small areas of the screen,
by line, or by area of the screen and also shows how the screen reader
functions operate.

The Screen Reader functionality in Zoomtext Mag Reader is not as sophisticated
as JAWS, the product will read back just what is on the screen, it will not
discern links or headings in the same way that Jaws will.

It is a good demonstration as it shows Zoomtext's unique ability to enlarge
text to a very high level and still keep the structure of the font.

A 60 day trial download is available from the AI and Sight and sound Web sites..

Regards
Glenn

While on the topic of software and equipment for visually impaired perhaps
Glen, George and others can inform more on this link and if there are any
other links like this where people can see screen readers in action.
