Thanks Barry for this additional link.

I'm now into the stage of choosing where I purchase my Ipod Touch and I'm not far away from having it.

I found a podcast recommended by someone yesterday most informative and I felt I really could manage to operate it OK, even though the podcast dealt with the IPhone and Apple Mac computer.

The Url given was

http://www.accessible-devices.com/Instructional%20podcasts%20for%20using%20Mac%20OS%2010.zip

Mind, that URL will probably split.

I hope someone else now finds this useful, as I did.

Touch/iPhone to recommend

Hi Carol,
First off your grand. Sometimes topics get heavy but
this is very much on topic.
There are a few useful Apple email lists but to be honest
you'd end-up getting flooded with information that's not
relevant to you UNTILL you get your touch or i Phone.
Plus I always feel we offer a unique perspective.here in
the UK to the more American and/or International lists.

Regarding the I Phone 5 we dont' have a release date as
far as I know. It could be into the summer before it
comes out. It'll have a new antenna design to hopefully
fix the one in the 4G. That's where if you dont' have a
case that covers the bottom left-hand side of the phone
and cover this with your fingers you'll lose signal.
It will have more memory and a faster processor than the
current generation. There are rumours that it might have
a Core II Duo processor. Making it more like the power
we're used to from our computers.
It'll have a dedicated graphics chip on it which will
help those who can see the screen with better graphics
and us who can't, can still benefit from increased
battery efficiency.

Here's a detailed article on the I Phone 5.

Cheers,
Barry.

Yes, Barry, you're possibly right there. What do you
know about the IPhone
5? When's it going to be out and what can we expect to
see?

Barry, if I'm asking too many questions for this list,
please tell me where
I should seek further information so far as lists are
concerned.

Thanks.
