Thanks a lot David, it's now back to normal. Happy new year.

Hi Valerie
If you hold the card with the cut off corner nearest to you on your left, and
then feel down the right hand edge of the card, you will find a little space
about half way down. Just below the gap is a switch. Somehow it has been put
in the wrong position. If you slide the little switch upwards, i.e. away from
you, it will click into place and you should be able to use the card as normal.

Subject: [access-uk] SD card
Hi all.
I'm using an SD card in my Victor Stream and for some reason it has suddenly
become write protected. I haven't a clue why this has happened as I've been
using it normally since I got it. Can anyone tell me how to unprotect it?
Obviously I can't transfer anything on to the Stream or delete anything whilst
the SD card is write protected. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Valerie Pickles.
