[access-uk] Repairing Windows XP

Hi All
Is there actually a facility to repair Windows XP Home? With my power unit
and internal DVD burner both giving up on me I feel some things in Windows
aren't quite as they should be so I was looking at the installation disc to
see if this is available. Without actually going into the install section I
couldn't find it. Did I not go far enough or is it no longer an option?
