Hi David, Might I suggest you upgrade to JAWS 7.1, and also ensure all critical updates are applied to your system, especially those involving security. If it was a generic JAWS problem, I'm sure there would be an International outcry. Once you've done that, perhaps we can try and analyse the error reports that are coming up by looking at the Event Viewer. I am currently using JFW7.0 and=20 IE6, but I have always had this problem. From time to time, when I close IE,=20 the computer just seems to crash. Programs won't start any more and Jaws=20 always goes quiet when this happens. I'm on XP home but it happened with all=20 OS's I've used. Does anybody know if there is an OS that doesn't have this, or a version of=20 IE that doesn't do it? Now I wait for Steve Nut to tell me that WE doesn't do it, but I just tried=20 starting WE to see if it could rescue me and it wouldn't work either!
