Hi,

Since I am now at work I looked at our model. Try pressing escape when you see
the red Toshiba logo, and then it will ask you to press F1 to enter the bios.

Thanks.
Andrew.

It's a Toshiba P20.
Thanks

Hi Peter,

If you can tell me the make and model, I'll check the user manual.
(Assuming it's available on-line)

George.

Hi George,
Command prompt is cool, but I need the bios. Is there a hold down key
command to access this?

Peter

To get to BIOS varies from PC to PC.

However, tapping F8 repeatedly from the moment you switch on, will usually
get you to a DOS type screen where you are presented with a (non speaking)
menu, where one of the options is "Command Prompt".

George.

Don't you do it by turning on your PC and keep pressing the enter key till
the option to boot from disc comes up?

Does anyone know how to get into the bios. I can have sighted help once I'm
there, so changing the boot from C to D is no problem.
Peter
