This used to be most prominent advice for Ni-Cads however Lithium-Ion (or
Li-Ion) should tolerate top ups and still be quite stable.

Subject: [access-uk] Rechargeable batteries

Hi Folks

I understand that some types of rechargeable batteries have to be completely
drained before recharging, otherwise the battery life is shortened. Is it
still necessary to do this with lithium batteries, or can they be topped up?

Best.

Robert.
