[access-uk] Re: RECORDINGS FOR WEB SITE

Yes, I will be using GoldWave - that's what I do. I was more concerned
about the quality I should go for and microphones etc. I should use to
make the original. I haven't any problem with editing the speech file
once it's prepared.

Can you record using goldwave? Where are the recording options?

Thanks!

Carol, have you considered Goldwave?
This program would be perfect for what you want to do. Goldwave creates
high quality stereo audio files for streaming on broadband as well as
low quality mono files that will stream on 56k modems.

Subject: [access-uk] RECORDINGS FOR WEB SITE

Hi all,

I have been asked to produce a voice recording of some of my poems on
our ECHURCH-UK WEB site and have no experience of doing this. Well, I
do have some experience in recording and editing straightforward items,
which these would be, but am not sure what quality I should aim at and
what type of file I should produce and whether I should record
externally from the computer or just use the headset with boom
microphone which I have for daily telephony programmes.

Any help or advice would be most welcome.

Thanks.
