Hi Mo.

If you download in the AA format, you will have your recording quality 
capped at 32KBPS where as AAX will give you 64KBPS Stereo, a considerably 
quality improvement.  The choice is yours of course, however I have 
successfully converted books at the higher quality using Macsome, just dont 
try to convert too many at a time and you'll be fine.
