I'm finding that the interferance on analogue channels is worsening considerably, you'd think it would improve as some shut down but its not, may be its all of the extra digital signals knocking around

Hi

Just to add a little here, I'm using the evoke-2. The DAB side of things operates in more or less the same way as on the Sonus (talking) radio, but obviously there is no speech. This means you have to use the presets to save your favourite stations, and that you will get no feedback as you move from channel to channel or if a particular station is unavailable. Having said this, if you use the default station ordering system (alphabetical), you should be able to work out where stations are based on their position in the alphabetical list (i.e. you can work out that BBC Radio Four is after BBC Radio three, and so on). another couple of points to keep in mind:

* As far as I know, the sets with FM don't have anything like the alarm/timer functionality of the Sonus. The evoke-2 has none at all.

* What stations are you wanting to listen to on FM? It might be worth seeing if there are any new multiplexes planned in your area. It's possible that more stations near you will be going onto DAB soon, so getting a radio with an FM tuner might not actually be worth all the extra cost.

Best wishes

James

Yes! but it depends how easy you find using ordinary radios.

Hi

I have a talking pure radio. Very nice radio)

I now wish to purchase another but with the FM tuner built in. As far as I
can see pure do not make a talking one with this option.

Do any of you use a non talking FM one and is it fairly easy to use with no
sight.

Graham
