Hi Brian, if you need a quick and free tool to convert mp4 to mp3 youtube downloader will do it. Youtube files are in mp4, hence youtube downloader has a convert utility. It doesn't only convert files downloaded from youtube. It'll convert any mp4 file.

                   John.

Hi Carol
they are saved in MP4 format. Just bought our first track from itunes. I found the track easily only because i was given the direct link to the item. Haven't tried searching for anything as yet. The only problem we had was getting the track to an mp3 player as our grandaughter needed the track for her dance class. It was resolved by burning it to a CD, then ripping it to MP3 with audiograbber. Don't know if there are any better ways of doing this so would be grateful for any advice for future reference.

Subject: [access-uk] Purchasing Music From Itunes

Hi all,

Now that I've got an IPod, I'm thinking the time has come to purchase music from Itunes. Am I right in thinking that the music purchased is playable *only* in Itunes or is there an alternative, once purchased, to save in any other format?

In what format is the file saved anyway and how does it equate with the quality of MP3's that I'm used to seeing, please?

Sorry if that's not expressed too well but I trust people will understand what I'm needing to know.
