Adobe Acrobat Pro has OCR built in. If you'd like to send me the PDF
offlist, I'd be happy to run it through and see if it helps?

Léonie.

Hi Jim,

Do you have an OCR program? You should be able to re-scan your PDF so that
the text can be extracted.

Take care

Subject: [access-uk] Problem with a pdf file.

Hello listers,
Vista and jaws 9.

I have a downloaded pdf file that when adobe reader 8 finishes converting,
will not open and I get the message empty document, although I'm sure
there's text on the page which it says it as converted page 1 of 25. Can
anyone help me to get this pdf file to open and try to explain why it's
saying empty document.

Thanks.
Jim.
